What comes standard in your new Postpartum Box:

• • Natural lip balm for labor : variety changes throughout the year.

• Nipple Healing Balm: heals pained, cracked and sore nipples from breastfeeding.

• Diaper Healing Balm: Apply on the gentle bottom of baby to prevent rashes or to treat them. 

• Sitz Bath: herbal bath for vaginal soreness, hemorrhoids and tears. Can also be used as a steam (see BTB vaginal steam for directions). Alternately, these are safe for baby also and can be used as a mom and baby herbal bath in the tub once they are ready. 

• Vaginal healing gel: cool herbal- infused aloe gel. Reduces pain/swelling, heals stitches and tears. Can be used directly on vagina or prepared ahead by adding to pad or cloth. Maintains vaginal PH balance.

• Raspberry Leaf & Nettle Tincture: a concentrated combination of raspberry leaf and nettle for toning, strengthening and preparing the uterus for delivery and returning uterus after birth. This tincture is pregnancy safe and can be used before deliver (optional). 1 dropperful each day in pregnancy. 2 dropperfuls each day in postpartum. 

• Afterbirth Tincture: reduces bleeding, lessen chance of hemorrhages and eases cramping post-birth. 2 dropperfuls every 4 hours until bleeding stops or the bottle is finished. 

• •     Herbal soap: gentle enough for both mom and baby. 

• •     Women’s multivitamin capsules: take 1 each day for the first 30 days of     the postpartum period. 

•       Vaginal peri bottle: use after birth to cleanse the vulva externally. Use warm water and squirt it on while sitting on toilet. Alternatively, you may also preboil your herbal bath (allow to cool) and add it to the peri bottle if bathing with the herbs is not an option. 

•     Labor oil: an oil used during labor as a massage oil to ease pain and discomfort in the muscles. Continue to use in the postpartum period on the hips, thighs, lower back or abdominal to ease aches. Use as much or as little as you desire. External use only. 

This package is meant to be used together, in unison during the postpartum period. You can add other items to it if you would like.
